We received a very warm greeting and the staff spoke English very well. Our room was spacious and the view was amazing. Breakfast was satisfying, well stocked with plenty of room In the eating area.
The staff was fabulous the breakfast could have been better the pool was clean the view of the countryside was fabulous would recommend
We had a wonderfull stay at Hotel Cielo in Sorrento. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. It almost felt like home. Our room was spacious with the most amazing view . It was a short walk to city centre (10min walk) which we enjoyed. We will definately return to Hotel Cielo.
nice sea view from the room to vesuvius
nothing good except the view, far from city center, poor breakfast and more then a basic room - it's actually overpriced, nice view not worth such money, especially when you only spend the night in the room.
The view was absolutely magnificent. Unfortunately that is where it ends.
We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. You are paying for the view and nothing else. I do not know where three stars come from. The towels were a type of sheeting and no pool towels. The rooms were in desperate need of a makeover. It is definitely seventies and in poor condition. Although the staff were friendly and the view was magnificent, we would never return here nor would we recommend it.
Excellent location, great views, quiet balconies & rooms in a noisy, busy city
Hand held shower in a tub with no curtains; awkward
The view was magnificent. Staff were friendly and accomodating.
Perhaps slightly overpriced for what you get. Worth it for the view, if you're planning on spending some chill out time on the balcony.
Fabulous Views from rooms and throughout hotel... wonderful pool !!
Towels were the worst !!!
The view was amazing - the location of this hotel was perfect. Able to walk into Sorrento easily.
nothing For the money it was great
Extraordinarily gracious and helpful reception staff. Beautiful views from balcony and pool. Parking on premises. Best breakfast menu among other hotels we stayed at elsewhere on this trip.
The view was the only thing that was good
I came to this hotel because of the good ratings. Beware! I came to Sorrento to enjoy the views, pool, beach. The first day I arrived I couldnot get to the pool due to staff's young children using the facilities. They were screaming and parents were allowing it. I decided to come later but was kicked out because the pool closed at 6pm. The next three days was the same thing. Loud, annoying screaming out of control children of staff. One of the rules was proper behaviour. I told the owner but he did not seem to care. They were still there. So much for a peaceful five days in Sorrento. The hotel did not do one thing for my bill or any type of forgiveness. Do not stay here. The breakfast was horrible. Very little to choose. Needed to go out. Poor poor poor.
The view! Who wants to go all the way to Sorrento and be faced with a street or a "garden" view. You want to be wowed and be able to sit with a bottle of wine on a balcony overlooking the town, the bay of Naples and Vesuvius. That's what you get. No noisy road between hotel and its view. Felt very sorry for those that had booked more up-market hotels on the landward side of Via Capo. Very helpful and friendly staff whatever the shift. Good breakfast and daily variety with fresh rolls and fruit.
The bell in the church on Marina Grande at night! Ok if you like sleeping with windows closed and a/c on, but if you want fresh air, the smell of the night and the sound of waves below, then it's a pain. A small price to pay however, and you have to respect that it is part of the harbour life below and will still be there when you are long gone. No coffee/tea making facilities in room.
The pool, location near but not in downtown, and an incredible view of the Bay of Naples.
Love the beautiful view from our room. The staff were extremely helpful & very friendly too. Close to a wonderful restaurant La Tonerrela, & short walk to main town area.
The view from the balcony,
The towels seemed to be old bed sheets sewn into squares, completely useless, the room looks very worn and the floor was thick in dust under the beds, the internet does not work in the rooms, breakfast was 2 star standard, deck chairs around the pool was very old, Be aware in your inclusive package in the small print you have to pay extra for air con???? This Hotel is no more then a 2 star .....
